Gregory A. Woods , , , President and Chief Executive Officer

Gregory Woods became AstroNova’s CEO in February 2014. Mr. Woods joined the Company in September 2012 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer on August 2013. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Woods served as Managing Director of advisory firm Medfield Advisors. He previously served in various executive leadership roles, including: President of Performance Motion Devices, a specialty semiconductor and electronics manufacturer; CEO of Control Technology Corp., a manufacturer of industrial computer and software products; and President of API Controls, a division of Danaher. Mr. Woods holds a Bachelor of Arts in physics from Colgate University, a Bachelor of Engineering in computer and mechanical engineering from Dartmouth College, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester.

April Ondis , , , Director

April Ondis has been the Digital Content Marketing Manager at Crossref, a not-for-profit membership organization for scholarly publishing working to make content easy to identify, cite, link, and assess, since August 2015. Previously, Ms. Ondis was Senior Manager, Applied Marketing for QuickLabel Systems, an AstroNova business unit. She originally joined AstroNova in 1998, and has held various positions within the company. Ms. Ondis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College, a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing and Advertising from West Virginia University, and a Master of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College of Maine.

Mitchell I. Quain , , , Director

Mitchell I. Quain has served as a director of AstroNova since 2011. Mr. Quain is a Senior Advisor at Carlyle Group, a private equity firm. From 2010 through 2011, Mr. Quain was a Partner at One Equity Partners, a private investment firm. From 2006 through 2009, he was a Senior Director of ACI Capital Corp. From 2002 through 2005, Mr. Quain served as Chairman of Register.Com, Inc., an internet services provider, and from 1997 to 2001 he was employed with ABN AMRO and its predecessors in several capacities, including Vice Chairman. Mr. Quain also serves as Chairman of the Board of MagneTek, Inc., a manufacturer of digital power and motion control systems, and a director of Hardinge Inc., a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of machine tools, and RBC Bearings, Inc., an international manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered precision plain, roller, and ball bearings. Mr. Quain previously served as a director of DeCrane Aircraft Holdings, Inc., Handy & Harman Ltd., HEICO Corporation, Mechanical Dynamics, Inc.,, and Titan International, Inc.

Yvonne Schlaeppi , , , Director

Ms. Schlaeppi is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Stratevise, an international strategic advisory firm with clients that range from start-ups to large global companies. Prior to Stratevise, Ms. Schlaeppi served as General Counsel at Global Enterprise Technologies, Passport & ID, a high-security document printing solutions provider and systems integrator. She also held the roles of Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate IP Officer at Organon BioSciences, a global pharmaceutical, animal health and biotech group. Ms. Schlaeppi was Partner and Chair of the international practice at Palmer & Dodge and prior to that, General Counsel Europe at Johnson Controls. She began her career as an international corporate attorney at Baker & McKenzie New York and Zurich. Since 2016, Ms. Schlaeppi serves as a director and member of the Audit, Nominating and Compensation Committees on the Board of Stallergenes Greer plc. Ms. Schlaeppi was recognized as a Board Leadership Fellow by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) in 2017. Ms. Schlaeppi received her J.D. from Columbia University and B.A. from Princeton University, the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs.

Harold Schofield , , , Director

Harold Schofield has been the owner and manager of Schofield Imaging Associates, LLC, in Narragansett, Rhode Island since 2004. Prior to this, Mr. Schofield was Founder, President and CEO of Atlantek Incorporated (“Atlantek”), a manufacturer of thermal printers and retired as Vice President and General Manager of Zebra-Atlantek following the acquisition of Atlantek by Zebra Technologies in 2003. Prior to founding Atlantek, Mr. Schofield was Design Engineering Manager at Gulton Industries where he was responsible for design and development of thermal printers, plotters, and chart recorders. Mr. Schofield is an internationally recognized authority in the electronic printing field.

Richard S. Warzala , , , Director

Richard Warzala is Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Allied Motion Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AMOT), which designs, manufactures and sells precision and specialty motion control components and systems in markets including Vehicle, Medical, Aerospace & Defense, and Industrial/Electronics. Before joining Allied Motion, Mr. Warzala was President of Danaher Corporation’s Motion Components Group and served in various senior positions at American Precision Industries Inc., including Corporate Vice President and President of its API Motion Division.
