Astro-Med, Inc., d/b/a AstroNova (NASDAQ: ALOT), has launched the new
QL-111 industrial label printer specifically designed for industrial and
manufacturing facilities. The QL-111 is available for immediate shipment
from QuickLabel Systems.
The QL-111 is a low cost color label printer specifically designed for
industrial, commercial, warehouse and manufacturing/distribution
facility applications to label cartons and packaging of all types. The
printer produces high quality, secondary labels with variable color
compliance appropriate for supply chain applications to identify
products such as footwear, hardware, electrical products and lighting
components. Printed labels, either glossy or matte, provide color
accuracy with long-lasting print. The labels are produced at 600 dots
per inch and a throughput of 8 inches/second. The QL-111 digitally
prints on blank stock from 4 individual CMYK high-capacity dye ink
cartridges, which allows print jobs with minimal user intervention.

as order and delivery lead time, excess quantity purchases,
documentation, and excess inventory, waste and scrap. In one pass, the
QL-111 produces short-run, complete color labels including: expiration
dates, lot codes, batch codes, barcodes, serialization, and images. This
printer was designed with LEAN work cell efficiency in mind. Print
drivers are compatible with all major labeling software, as well as
third-party software such as NiceLabel® and Bartender®.
Designed for packaging system integration, the QL-111 is easily
connected and controlled by external systems including automatic label
applicators, barcode verification systems and visual inspection systems,
and can be seamlessly integrated into virtually any packaging system.
